Creek Danes is located in Boyne City Michigan, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Charlevoix and just east of Lake Michigan. Creek Danes is the passion of Kenny Cregg, banquet manager at Boyne USA and David Beek, an agent at Century 21 Vacation Properties. We are located just outside of town and have ten acres with a first right on an adjacent 50 acre parcel. There is 40 acres of state land at the back of our property with Porter Creek running through it.
We have had Great Danes since 2000 and have striven from the beginning to have the best. Our interest in Great Danes started when our daughter Chloe was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and we knew that we would need a "therapy" dog to assist her with walking. Our first Great Dane was "OZ" and that was it, we were instantly in love with the breed. He actually helped Chloe learn to walk by guiding her through the house. OZ will always be a cherished memory in our household. Sadly, OZ passed away in 2006 from a "spontaneous pneumothorax".
Our current dogs include, PomPom, Vegas, Dharma, and Karma. Dharma, Karma, Luka, PomPom, and Vegas are our females, which all have solid breeding. Please click on their links to see photos and more information.
Our dogs all live in the house with us. We have made one of the six bedrooms into a room dedicated to the dogs. They have ceiling fans, music, separate beds, automatic feeders & waterers, a doggy door to their shaded deck, and then a 50 foot run to do their business.
